Dana Williams Chopra, MD
Board-certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine, Dr. Dana Williams Chopra is committed to delivering personalized care that helps patients feel heard, supported, and confident in their health. She believes strong relationships and clear communication are the foundation of good medicine, especially as health needs become more complex in later years.
Dr. Chopra’s interest in healthcare began early, inspired by her family.
“I come from a family of physicians. My dad is a doctor,” she says. “I grew up around medicine and saw how much it mattered. Watching him care for people is what first inspired me to follow the same path.”
With board certification in geriatric medicine, Dr. Chopra brings focused expertise in caring for older adults. She primarily sees patients 70 and older, helping them navigate chronic conditions, medication complexity, and the shared goal many people have in later years: staying independent, active, and capable for as long as possible.
Dr. Chopra takes a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to care, with a strong emphasis on clarity and simplicity. She is attentive to helping patients feel less overwhelmed and more confident in the decisions they make about their health.
When meeting a patient for the first time, Dr. Chopra prioritizes understanding the whole person, not just their medical history. She wants to know what matters most to them, what their past healthcare experiences have been like, and how those experiences shape their expectations moving forward.
“I want my patients to feel that I truly pay attention and really listen,” she says.
Some of the most meaningful moments in her career have come from supporting families through caregiving, helping them feel reassured during emotionally challenging seasons.
“Helping families through that, and reminding them they’re doing a good job, can be incredibly meaningful,” she says.
Dr. Chopra was drawn to concierge medicine because it allows her to practice the kind of medicine she believes patients deserve, with more time, easier access, and fewer barriers to care.
She values being able to offer a smoother, more coordinated experience, especially for patients and families who may already feel stretched thin.
“This is the kind of place I’d want my own parents to go,” she says.
Outside the office, Dr. Chopra enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with their young son. She also loves attending concerts, caring for houseplants, and learning more about gardening.
Concierge Medicine
The Benefits of Concierge Medicine and Executive Healthcare
Concierge medicine provides the highest level of medical care available. The model gives Signature Healthcare’s primary care physicians time to build relationships with patients to learn about their unique lifestyles. Our doctors see fewer than 10% of the patients in a traditional practice. This allows them to devote more time to each patient in order to support their health and overall wellness. It also allows our physicians to focus on prevention for optimal health.
Concierge medical practices provide a higher level of care than traditional primary care practices. Signature’s model is based on an annual membership. Our members experience what’s most important to them, such as 24/7 access to a physician, same or next day appointments, and minimal wait times at office visits. Our doctors do not rush through appointments and provide highly personalized, comprehensive care. Schedule a consultation with our team to experience the Signature difference.
